BABYSHAMBLES - FUCK FOREVER
"Fuck Forever" is a song by Babyshambles. It was released as a single on 15 August 2005 and is their most successful single, peaking at #4 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was in danger of becoming a lost single due to its controversial title and lyrics, but it was eventually released and has become the closing number in the band's live sets. In May 2007, the NME placed "Fuck Forever" at number 24 in its list of the "50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever".
The single was released in Japan on 22 September 2005 by Reservoir Records/EMI.
The video was directed by Jez Murrell.
Most of the promotional video for Babyshambles' second single was filmed on location at Spitalfields City Farm in east London, in June 2005.
At the very beginning of the video there is a very brief cameo appearance from Kate Moss, which is followed by a segment featuring Patrick Walden talking to a girl in a cinema ticket booth in the style of a foreign film, complete with sub-titles and fluttering animated hearts.
The farm segment features a sharp suited and booted band milling around miming to the song, miscellaneous farm animals, goats running around, Union Jack draped and pork pie hat wearing donkeys and Pete Doherty twirling around wrapped in a Union Jack.
The video ends with Walden and the mysterious cinema girl meeting up at the "Victoria Palace Gates," sharing a kiss and romantically wandering off into the distance.

Lyrics:
Its one and the same, one and the same oh,
So whats the use between death and glory?
How can you choose between death and glory?
Happy endings, no, they never bored me
Happy endings, they still don't bore me
But they, they have a way
They have a way to make you pay
And to make you toe the line
Sever the ties
Because I'm so clever
But clever ain't wise
Fuck forever
If you don't mind
Oh fuck forever?
If you dont mind, dont mind,i dont mind,i dont mind
Oh whats the use between death and glory?
I cant tell between death and glory?
New labour and Tory
Purgatory and no happy families
Its one and the same, one and the same
No, its not the same
Its not supposed to be the same
You know about that way
The way they make you pay
And the way they make you toe the line
I've severed my ties
Oh, you're so clever, you're so clever
But you're not very nice
So fuck forever
If you don't mind
Oh I'm stuck forever
In your mind, your mind, your mind
But have you heard about that way,
To make you feel I should soon make you pay
And to make you toe the line, line
I Sever my ties
Oh well i never
Sever the ties
And fuck forever
If you don't mind
See i'm stuck forever
Oh i'm stuck in your mind, your mind, your mind
I never played this on the radio
Oh they never played this on the radio.
Fuck forever
